Bumped Into Zack Ludlow - We Go Way Back!

So I somehow got invited to a Chocolate Slip'n Slide event that was going down in Murray Park.  There is a ginormous hill and lots of people use it quite often for activities like this one that I went to.  I will post a video of the event later.

At the event, btw, it was entertaining...I saw an old friend who I met while he was serving a mission in my home town.  It was really good to see him.  For some weird reason, I totally forgot that he was transferred to another mission where he was put into the Hmong program which is how he learned to speak Hmong. 

I actually thought he had learned it while he was in Cali but during his time there he was in the Laotian program.  Lucky him, he got to learn 2 languages, or was it?

Helping My Friend, John, buy a car

My friend, John, got in a terrible wreck on his way back from Moab.  First of all, I'm not surprised because he's not the best driver.  Trust me on this, I've been in the car with him driving.  And sometimes I do get nervous.

Story goes, he was passing someone and someone was trying to pass him while he was trying to pass, thus, he was in a sandwich position with oncoming traffic.  So he tries to slow down enough to get back in the right lane but as he is switching back, clips the corner tail of the car he was trying to pass.  Throws that car in a spin and gets his car fish tailing.  Out of control, he clips the shoulder and rolls the car several times, breaking windows and his stuff flying out of his car. 

The whole thing stopped when they landed upside down.  His girlfriend was in the passenger seat and her foot went through the windshield.  Luckily, they were wearing seat belts and walked away with minor injuries.

Ok, so here is the story of the Car Buying Experience with John.  And unfortunately, I couldn't capture the event of the accident for you.  But I do have a video of the experience of buying the car.  It doesn't go through all the details and everything that we went through in finding a car and making the purchase.  But he has looked and I'll say he missed some much better vehicles that he looked at.

Back Date Event

Ok...so because I started really behind on this blog, I've already made a video and I've taken several videos before starting the actual blog. And I'm going to be back dating so you can get a glimpse into what I've done and see the videos I've made.

Here is one of them where my friend, Shaunee and I decided to check out the lightning storm from the State Capital Building which is on a hill after karaoke. I had recently got my video camera using my rewards points so it was FREE.

My First Blog Post

Hello World!! Really, I'm actually making a blog for my family because I live away from home and I felt like it would help them to know me better since I've been living away since I was 19. It's not like I don't go home every once in a while but this will definitely help.

So family and friends, this blog is for you!!! You'll get to see my Phabulous Life away from home and get a glimpse of what I am doing day by day and get to experience it via my blog and pictures and videos I'll be making. I hope you guys will get to know me better through this and will help bring me closer to you and vice versa.

I've actually been thinking about making this blog for quite some time but just haven't gone around to doing it. And I know a few of you are on facebook which does bring us closer together, but this blog will give you more of a detail of my Phabulous Life!
